Dr. Gardner is a cum laude graduate of Howard University. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine where he was named Most Outstanding Student in Otolaryngology for his graduating class. Dr. Gardner received his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery training at Georgetown University Medical Center where he three times received the Washington Hospital Center BRAVO Award for patient care. His research work has been presented at national meetings and published in leading medical journals. Dr. Gardner is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Gardner has been listed in Washingtonian Magazine every cycle since 2004. He was one of the youngest physicians in the field to be so honored. Additionally, he has been recognized in Consumer Checkbook, listed in Who’s Who in Medicine, and honored by the City of Manassas.
Dr. Gardner served as the Chairman of Surgery for Prince William Hospital. He was appointed Delegate to the Medical Society of Virginia, the state branch of the American Medical Association. He is also former President of the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology.
His practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of tumors of the head and neck, disorders of the ear, and all forms of upper airway obstruction from snoring to sleep apnea. His special clinical interests include pediatric issues as well as endoscopic diagnosis and surgery for nasal, sinus, and laryngeal disorders.
He and his wife have three children.
