While you can clean your hearing aids at home, it\u2019s important to get them checked by an audiologist at least several times a year.<\/p>\n\n\n

Why a Clean and Check Appointment Is Important<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A member of our audiology team will remove earwax from your device\u2019s microphone and receiver openings, wipe your devices down and replace the wax guards if they are clogged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They will test your hearing aid\u2019s receiver, microphone, controls and battery compartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If issues are found, your audiologist will fix them in-house if possible. For larger repairs, your devices may need to be sent to the manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
