Dr. Bivone received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from James Madison University and earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the Long Island Audiology Consortium, which includes Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John’s Universities. Dr. Bivone is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with which she holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Dr. Bivone is Board Certified in Audiology, specializing in hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection, fitting and troubleshooting. She is also trained in vestibular and electrophysiologic evaluations. She was a member of the research Hear-Ring Lab at Hofstra University where she assisted in studies on noise-induced hearing loss and effect of music on hearing health in adolescents and young adults. Dr. Bivone also participated in a mission trip to provide hearing health care to the people of Peru. Dr. Bivone is originally from New York. Outside of the office you can find her spending time with her husband and her dog.
